Ushaw Historic House

We are a conservation architecture practice with a track record of sensitive work within historic buildings. At Ushaw Historic House and Gardens in County Durham — one of the North East's most significant historic sites — the practice completed the refurbishment of the William Allen Gallery.

This delivered a security upgrade to the Gallery to Government Indemnity Scheme standards. This now enables the Ushaw Historic House to host loans of high-value art and historical artefacts, within a setting of exceptional architectural and historic importance.
