A new, bespoke building at Western House Business Park near Melsonby, Richmond, purpose-built as the home of Pennine Veterinary Referrals — an independent specialist centre offering cardiology, neurology, oncology, orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery.

Designing from the ground up rather than adapting a shell meant the clinical requirements could set the plan instead of working around it. The building houses a purpose-planned MRI suite, a welcoming reception, and a layout that keeps patients, owners and clinical teams moving through the building without crossing paths.

Working closely with the practice through every revision, we delivered a calm, flexible, future-ready facility that supports the highest standard of veterinary care in a rural North Yorkshire setting.
