Our team is led by director Michael Chou, a highly enthusiastic and talented architect. Prior to returning to his roots in the North East to establish Cellar Door Architecture, Michael held positions at several high profile international practices. Notable project experience includes the Imperial War Museum for Foster + Partners, the Express Building for Ben Adams Architects and Dollar Bay Tower for Simpson Haugh.

Michael combines design talent with a sharp technical understanding. Clients have described him as dynamic and reliable and enjoy his easy going and personable approach to leading projects.
