PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
As Principal Designer we carry out crucial responsibilities throughout the lifecycle of a construction project. We lead the coordination of health and safety matters during the pre-construction phase, ensuring that potential risks are proactively identified, evaluated, and effectively managed.
Our objective as the Principal Designer is to foster a culture of safety and collaboration, where visionary design and meticulous attention to health and safety harmoniously coexist. As Principal Designer we provide the following:
Assist the client in identifying , obtaining and collating the pre-construction information.
Raising the necessary F10 notifications
Provide pre-construction information to designers, the Principal Contractor and Contractors
Ensure designers comply with their duties and co-operate with each other
Carry out design risk workshops and reviews
Liaise with the Principal Contractor for the duration of the appointment
Prepare the Health and Safety File
