THE PROJECT
This elegant new Apart-hotel scheme is situated in Barnard Castle, County Durham, an attractive market town popular with tourists and gateway to surrounding Teesdale. We have worked closely with the local conservation team to develop a design that is sensitive to the historic residential setting, whilst maximising yield for the client.
This 20 micro-apartment visitor accomodation scheme uses pale stone brick work to complement local limestone construction, whilst modern window detailing and zinc cladding give the scheme a more contemporary edge. We use our experience designing high-end hospitality schemes in the city, applying industry best practice and innovation, to bring a completely fresh product to the area.
